Hair Styling at Home

When my mom and I went out wedding shoe shopping, we had a pleasant surprise. Not only did we find my gorgeous wedding shoes, but we also discovered that the store where we bought them was much more versatile than first glance would tell you. They also do hair, make-up and a host of other bridal related things. The best part? They come to you.

My mom was pretty much sold when she found out they would come to us. Since our ceremony is in the afternoon, getting-ready time for the girls is both essential and scarce. So eliminating the time it takes to gather everyone, drive to a salon, and get everyone's hair styled, then drive back? Sounds good to me!

But I wasn't as convinced as my mom, so I checked them out online. I saw some of their past bridal transformations and I was impressed. I also took a look at their photo array of possible styles they can give you and two, in particular caught my eye.

First of all, these caught my eye because, along with my veil, I'll be wearing a crystal headband. Obviously, both of these girls are wearing fabric headbands so the look would obviously work with that. Also, these are both down-dos, which you also already know I'm crazy about.

However, I would want a few more curls if I were doing the second look, and I am not 100% sold on the braid in the first look. I think the braid looks gorgeous on the model, but I'm not sure that it would have the same glamorous affect on me.

We'll see if these ladies end up being the team of professionals who are styling my hair on the day of, but if they were, I think they would do a beautiful job!
