What Are You Doing New Year's Eve? - We Recess, We Receive, We Ride!

When last we saw Mishka and I...we were married:).

At long last, after 4 years of living and loving, we were finally LEGALLY married! All that was left to do during our ceremony, was our recessional which I think we handled rather gorgeously ;).

This was the only other moment during the wedding day where I teared up. I was fine recessing down the aisle, looking at all the faces smiling back at me. But just as we reached the back of the church, one of my mom's work friends looked at me and said "Congratulations" and I almost lost it. But, with Mishka at my side, I never came any closer to crying than tearing.

I think we look even better from the back ;). Oh, and see that leaf on my skirt? Yeah, that's from almost taking down the poinsettias on the altar as I was walking back. What can I say? I had other things on my mind...

In fact, I think what we're laughing about that poinsettia incident here...

I love this picture of me and my MOH as we all took our places for the receiving line. It's probably one of my favorite photos from the whole day.

My dad, shaking the hand of his new son :).

First we received the bridal party! This is me with groomsman A.

I love this picture of my in-laws. They look so happy (my MIL finally stopped crying ;) ).

Our "Just Married" Car :-D. I just love how tricked out and gorgeous it looks, all thanks to my Uncle R! He's taken such good care of my Uncle's car since he passed away.

People began filing out onto the steps of our church after our receiving line so that they could wait for us to emerge from the church and make our "getaway" :).

Our photogenic and gregarious groomsmen :).

And of course, we had to pose for a photo or two as people moved down the line :).

My sisters having fun outside after the receiving was over.

And once it was over, it was time for us to emerge!

We made our way to our car and took some suave "hey we're married" ;) photos.

Then it was time to stuff me in the car...

Which required some help from my MOH G in order to get all those skirts in right.

Then there was nothing left to do but for Mishka to get in the car and...

WE RIDE!!!
